What it enforces
Every lineup lands under the cap with all slots filled. Nothing comes back invalid.
DraftKings basketball gives you G, F and UTIL on top of the five starters. That is three spots you can fill with whoever is priced wrong, and the optimizer looks there first.
DraftKings will not take a classic roster from a single game. Treated as a hard rule, not a preference.
