Free NFL DraftKings & FanDuel Lineup Optimizer

Build an NFL DFS lineup for DraftKings or FanDuel without a spreadsheet. The optimizer below pulls the current week's salaries and our own projections, then assembles a lineup that fits the salary cap and roster rules for the platform you pick. Lock in players you already like, exclude the ones you don't, and let the solver fill the rest. No account, no paywall, no email capture — the tool runs the same for a first-time visitor as it does for someone who has used it every week since Week 1.

How do I build a free NFL DFS lineup?

Pick DraftKings or FanDuel in the builder below and it fills a cap-legal lineup from our weekly projections — no account or card required.

How the optimizer builds a lineup

Every player in the pool carries a projection built from recent usage, opponent defense, and game script, not a static season average. Pick DraftKings or FanDuel and the salary cap, roster slots, and position eligibility switch automatically to match that platform's rules. Lock a quarterback you're set on, exclude a running back stuck in a committee, and the builder fills the remaining slots by maximizing projected points inside what's left of the cap. If a lineup can't be built because too many expensive locks leave no cap room, the diagnostics panel says exactly why instead of failing silently.

DraftKings vs. FanDuel: what changes

DraftKings NFL classic slates run a $50,000 cap across QB, two RB, three WR, TE, FLEX, and D/ST. FanDuel uses a $60,000 cap with a similar shape but different position minimums. Salaries, especially for FLEX-eligible players, rarely match across the two sites — a receiver priced as a value play on one platform can be chalk on the other. Toggle between them and the entire pool re-prices instead of asking you to redo the math by hand.

Slates, weeks, and locks

Filter by week and by slate: main, Thursday night, the early or late Sunday window, or Saturday when the schedule calls for it. Search finds a player by name or team in a pool that can run past 400 rows on a full Sunday slate. Locking caps out at nine players across the standard position limits, so a lineup always leaves the solver room to do something useful. Excluding a player removes him from consideration everywhere, including as a locked pick.

Why it's free

We don't sell picks or gate projections behind a subscription. The optimizer, the projections, and the player trend pages are the same product whether you check them once a season or every single week. If that changes, it will say so here, not through a paywall that shows up after you have already built a habit around the free version.

Frequently asked questions

Is this NFL lineup optimizer really free?

Yes. No account, no credit card, and no limit on how many lineups you build or how many times you rebuild them.

Does it work for both DraftKings and FanDuel?

Yes. Toggle the platform switch and the salary cap, roster slots, and every player's price update to match the site you picked.

Where do the projections come from?

Our own model, built from recent usage, matchup strength, and game script. It updates with each new week's data rather than sitting fixed from the start of the season.

Can I lock specific players before building a lineup?

Yes. Lock up to nine players across the standard position limits and the optimizer fills every remaining slot around them, inside what's left of the salary cap.

What if I don't like the lineup it builds?

Reset it and rebuild, or exclude the players you don't want and run it again. Nothing is final until you copy the lineup into your own DraftKings or FanDuel entry.
