Free NFL Lineup Optimizer

One slate a week, and a whole week to attack it. Build cap-legal DraftKings and FanDuel rosters around a quarterback stack, with Vegas numbers and injury status sitting on every row of the pool.

How do I build a free NFL DFS lineup?

Open the NFL lineup builder, pick DraftKings or FanDuel, and it fills a cap-legal roster from our projections. Building and exposure caps are free without an account; sign in to add QB stacking and roster rules.

What the optimizer does

QB stacks, plus the bring-back

NFL scoring is correlated through the quarterback. Pick the stack size and which pass catchers count, then bring back a piece of the opposing offense. Defenses facing your own stack are blocked automatically.

Vegas numbers in the pool

Implied team total, spread, and game total sit next to each player, so you can see which offenses the market expects to score before you lock anything in.

Injury status you can filter

Game-status designations show on the row. Hide anyone Out, Doubtful, or on IR in one click instead of scanning the pool by hand.

Exposure across the whole set

Build up to 20 lineups, cap how often any one player appears, and set a minimum number of unique players between them.

DraftKings and FanDuel are not the same contest

Same nine roster spots, different math. A lineup that fits one site is usually illegal on the other, so pick your site first and the optimizer switches the rules underneath you.

RuleDraftKingsFanDuel
Salary cap$50,000$60,000
Receptions1 point (full PPR)0.5 points (half PPR)
Roster spreadAt least 2 gamesAt least 3 teams
Single-game captainCPT at 1.5xMVP at 1.5x

The reception rule is the one that quietly reshapes a pool. Full PPR pushes pass-catching backs and high-volume slot receivers up the board; half PPR pulls them back toward touchdown scorers.

Weekly, not daily

An NFL slate is a week of news, not a morning of it. Practice reports, inactives, and line movement all land between the time the board opens and the time it locks, so the useful move is to build early, then re-run once the late information arrives rather than trying to get it right in one pass.

Common questions

Is it free?
Building lineups is free and needs no account. Sign in with a free account to add QB stacking, roster rules, and lineup uniqueness, or to save a lineup.
Can I stack a quarterback with his receivers?
Yes. Set the QB stack size and which positions count toward it, then add a bring-back from the opposing offense. The optimizer also blocks a defense playing against your own stack.
Does it handle showdown and single-game slates?
Yes. The single-game builder applies the 1.5x captain multiplier to both salary and projected points, and labels the slot CPT on DraftKings or MVP on FanDuel.
How many lineups can I build at once?
Up to 20 per build. Cap exposure for the whole set or for individual players before you re-run.
