Privacy policy

What we collect

Account: your email, display name, and sign in method, through Firebase Authentication. You can sign in with Google, or with an email and password.

Things you save: starred players, saved lineups, saved pools, and your email preference. These are stored in Firebase (Firestore).

Usage: pages you view, your device and browser type, an approximate location from your IP address, and actions like building a lineup. We collect this through Google Analytics 4.

Server logs: Firebase Hosting keeps request logs that include your IP address and user agent. We keep these for a limited time and use them for security and traffic review.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. When you are signed in, we send Google Analytics an anonymous account identifier, which means analytics data can be connected to other data we hold about your account. You can opt out of this connection at any time.

When you're signed in, we associate Google Analytics usage data with your account ID so we can understand how members use the site. We do not send your name or email to Google.

Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser, including cookies named_ga. To opt out today, sign out of your account, or use Google's Analytics opt out browser add on.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure site usage. Firebase Authentication keeps your sign in session in browser storage. The site itself remembers a few preferences in local storage, such as which table columns you have shown or hidden and which notices you have dismissed.

We do not run any advertising cookies and we do not work with ad networks.

Communications

Account and service email is required, not optional. If you have an account, we send you email about your account and the Service, such as billing receipts, security notices, and changes to your access or to these policies. You cannot unsubscribe from account and service email while you have an account.

Marketing email (new features, offers, and tips) goes to every account holder who has not unsubscribed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops marketing email. It does not stop account and service email. The email list is never sold or rented.

Who else sees your data

1. Google, through Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Cloud, as our hosting and analytics provider.
2. Sports data providers named in the site footer, such as Baseball Savant, nflverse, and ESPN, supply data to us. Nothing about you goes out to them.
3. Stripe processes payments for us under Stripe's own privacy policy. We do not store your card number or invoice details; we keep only your Pro status and a Stripe customer reference, which we remove when your account is deleted.
4. Resend sends our email for us, both account and service email and marketing email. It receives your email address, and your name if we use it in the email, and it does not use that information for its own marketing.
5. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Retention

We delete your account data within 30 days of a deletion request. Otherwise we keep it while your account exists. Your Stripe customer reference is removed with the account, as described above.

Your choices

You can see or delete what you have saved from your account pages. To close your account and have us delete your data, email fantasysportsedge247@gmail.com.

Age

This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
