What we collect

Account: your email, display name, and sign in method, through Firebase Authentication. You can sign in with Google, or with an email and password.

Things you save: starred players, saved lineups, saved pools, and your email preference. These are stored in Firebase (Firestore).

Usage: pages you view, your device and browser type, an approximate location from your IP address, and actions like building a lineup. We collect this through Google Analytics 4.

Server logs: Firebase Hosting keeps request logs that include your IP address and user agent. We keep these for a limited time and use them for security and traffic review.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. When you are signed in, we send Google Analytics an anonymous account identifier, which means analytics data can be connected to other data we hold about your account. You can opt out of this connection at any time.

Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser, including cookies named_ga. To opt out today, sign out of your account, or use Google's Analytics opt out browser add on.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure site usage. Firebase Authentication keeps your sign in session in browser storage. The site itself remembers a few preferences in local storage, such as which table columns you have shown or hidden and which notices you have dismissed.

We do not run any advertising cookies and we do not work with ad networks.

Email

We only send you email if you tick the box for it at sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or rent our email list.

Who else sees your data

  1. Google, through Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Cloud, as our hosting and analytics provider.
  2. Sports data providers named in the site footer, such as Baseball Savant, nflverse, and ESPN, supply data to us. Nothing about you goes out to them.
  3. When paid membership is available, Stripe processes payments for us. We never see your card number.
  4. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Your choices

You can see or delete what you have saved from your account pages. To close your account and have us delete your data, email info@fantasysportsedge.com.

Age

This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
