Why a player might be missing

These decide who is available to your build. All four are switches you control.

Auto-Exclude Injured
Players listed Out are dropped from the pool. Questionable players stay in, because they start often enough to be worth keeping.
Exclude non-starters
Once a team posts its lineup, anyone left off it is dropped. Before a team posts, this rule drops nobody from that team.
Exclude day-to-day
Players carrying a day-to-day tag are dropped, unless they turn up in a posted lineup.
Confirmed lineups only
Narrows hitters to those in a posted lineup. Off by default, and only available once enough teams have posted. Pitchers are not affected.
  • A player in a posted lineup is never dropped by these rules.
  • If applying them would leave too few players to fill a valid roster, the drops are undone for that slate.

How to use this MLB lineup export tool

This tool takes a FanDuel or DraftKings MLB contest and turns it into optimized, ready-to-upload lineups.

  1. On FanDuel or DraftKings, enter your contest, then download the contest's "Edit Entries" CSV. If your template has no entry rows yet, you can still upload it and pick how many lineups to build.
  2. Upload that CSV in step 1. We detect the platform automatically.
  3. In step 2, pick the slate that matches your contest. Step 3 shows how many of your contest's teams and players are covered by our projections, so you can confirm you picked the right one before building.
  4. In step 4, lock players you want in every lineup, exclude ones you don't, set exposure caps, or set custom roster rules, then click "Optimize and build CSV." Click any player in the built lineup grid to swap them for another eligible player.
  5. Download the filled CSV in step 5 and upload it back to FanDuel or DraftKings' entries page.

Which files does it accept?

Unedited FanDuel or DraftKings "Edit Entries" CSVs. The file we hand back uses the same platform template, filled with their player IDs, so it uploads without edits.

Do I need an account to use this?
