Free NBA DraftKings and FanDuel lineup builder
Build NBA lineups for DraftKings or FanDuel. Pick a slate and the builder uses our projections and that slate's salaries to fill a lineup that fits the site's cap and roster slots. Lock or exclude players and set exposure limits first if you want.
The NBA season starts on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. There are no slates to build from until then.

How do I build a free NBA DFS lineup?
Pick DraftKings or FanDuel, pick a slate, click Build. You get a lineup from our projections that fits that site's cap and roster slots.
How the NBA lineup builder works
Every player has a projection and a salary for the site you pick. Switch between DraftKings and FanDuel and the cap, roster slots and salaries switch with it. The builder fills lineups from the projections that fit the cap and your locks and exclusions.
Locks, exclusions and exposure
Lock a player and he's in every lineup. Exclude him and he's in none. If you build more than one lineup, set exposure limits to spread it out. The pool shows injury status and filters by position.
Slates
Salaries and the player pool depend on the slate, so pick the one you're entering first. Only published NBA slates are listed. If none show up, there's nothing to build yet. Single-game contests have their own builder.
Frequently asked questions
Does the NBA lineup builder work for both DraftKings and FanDuel?
Yes. Switch the site in the builder and the cap, roster slots and salaries change to match.
Where do the NBA projections come from?
Our own projection model.
Can I lock or exclude players?
Yes. Locked players go in every lineup. Excluded players stay out of all of them.
Does the builder cover single-game NBA contests?
No. DraftKings CPT and FanDuel MVP contests have their own single-game builder. This one is for classic multi-game slates.
Why does the builder show no slates?
It only lists published slates. Before the season starts that's normal. Check back once games are scheduled.
